Light bulb“Bring along your old incandescent light bulb and get a low energy one for free” is the message from Southampton Environment Centre and the Footprint Trust.

Anyone attending one of the three Future Energy days will be able to trade in their old lamps for new ones – and thus save at least £5 a year on their energy bill.

Also if you’re confused about all the different information regarding fuel efficiency and renewable energy then a visit to the Future Energy events during October half term week may be of assistance. (27th to 31st October). The aim is to offer some help to householders facing high energy bills. Businesses will also have an opportunity to find out ‘Energy Options, Profits & Savings’ from Business Link on Friday 31 October at the Riverside Centre at 1.30pm, as part of the wider event.
