Her garden is very wild and interesting and contains a variety of nuts, fruits and herbs. Being a bit of a plants-woman she has planted the best varieties she can find. Both Ken and her are experts on the types of plants and their uses, so we always pick up some handy tips.

We discussed many ideas for forthcoming meetings including; how to smoke fish, sessions on grafting and taking cuttings of fruit and nut trees.
The islandwide monthly meeting are usually held on the first saturday of the month, but the next one is on the 12th July in Shanklin at my allotment, where we will be creating a bog garden. Everyone is welcome and the meetings are a good place to swap ideas and plants and anything else that someone can make use of.
